PCL Solutions is an IT services and managed hosting company striving to provide worry free IT management and advisory services for all of our customers. Whether you are a small or midsized business that needs help supporting and maintaining your PC, network and server infrastructure; a start-up looking for a partner to help you design and host a scalable, cost effective infrastructure; or an enterprise looking for expertise in scaling your DB layer, we can be a partner you can turn to.

Here at PCL Solutions we help Enterprise, New Media, Web 2.0 and Video Delivery (VOD/LIVE) clients to understand how to best manage, innovate, and most importantly scale their technology infrastructure . We provide solutions around both the infrastructure and hosting of large transaction systems that require scale-out into highly available fabrics. We’re also a Clustrix Database partner and work specifically on high scale DB layer architecture, high scale web architecture, and video delivery architecture. Each solution is tailored to meet the specific business needs of each client to allow for their technology to support their business instead of running their business.

Eugene is the Founder and CEO of PCL Solutions. In his role of Chief Executive Officer, Eugene handles the day to day operations and provides leadership for our corporate strategy. With over 8 years of experience in the technology industry Eugene has continuously led the successful growth of PCL Solutions by concentrating on building and maintaining true partnership with our client base. Eugene holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from NJIT.

In his role as Chief Technology Officer at PCL Solutions, Mark spearheads the network and server infrastructure of the managed services, consulting, and hosting divisions of PCL Solutions. Mark has over 12 years of experience in the technology and telecom industry with leading companies such as DELL, Insight, and others. Mark has become a thought leader in the horizontal scalability and high bandwidth hosting movement and works to create streamlined infrastructure and architecture for mission critical and complex of projects. Mark works closely with the PCL technology team to ensure continous improvement and satisfaction for our client base.

Chief Information Officer

Kevin Joined PCL Solutions in March of 2020 in an effort to take the business to the next level.

He is currently managing all technical support, services and development. He is helping put new tools, services, policies and procedures in place to give PCL Solutions a springboard to growth.

His 35 plus years as a system engineer and work as the former CIO for IO Integration gives him the ability to help PCL increase its ongoing improvement efforts to deliver to the highest standards. He will be working closely with staff and management to add new solutions and service offerings to all PCL clients. From technical support, Professional services, Development, Managed services, Virtualization, Disaster recovery, Fault tolerance, Colocation and Data center hosting, Kevin will be leading the charge. Kevin holds many certifications from Apple, Sun, SGI, IBM. Microsoft and has been teaching UNIX and Linux for over 30 years. He is a high level information technology professional with a wealth of experience and knowledge.

Outside Sales Representative

We're looking for another sales representative to add to our New York/New Jersey metro area sales team. Must have experience in sales, business computer technology, a solid understanding of how computers and the Internet affect people's work life and experience in solution selling.

Job Summary

Responsible for pursuing sales to new and existing customers. Creates long term relationships. Understands the customer's demands, plans how to meet these demands and generates sales for the company as a result.

Day-to-Day Essential Job Duties
  • Identify and pursue new customers and sales opportunities.
  • Travels to customer locations as needed.
  • Meets with customers and follows established new and existing sales processes.
  • Build and maintain strong, long lasting customer relationships.
  • Maintain communication with customers through phone calls, e-mail and face-to-face visits where possible.
  • Assists with communication and direction with customers for high priority requests or ticket/issue escalations as needed.
  • Process all Quote Requests related to assigned clients.
  • Understands concepts of business to business sales - points, margin, products, labor rates, overhead, sales process and other activities related to new and existing customer sales.

PCL Level 1/2 Tech

We are looking for an IT technician that has a self-motivated attitude with the eagerness to learn new things and is able to adapt to new challenges and problems that could come up from day to day. Must be knowledgeable in software, hardware, and networks. Candidate must be critical thinkers and problem-solvers with great attention to detail. Since end-user support and teamwork are important aspects of the role, excellent communication, and people skills are required.

Duties & Responsibities
  • Server building and maintenance.
  • Workstation and server monthly patch management
  • To assist our users with any logged IT related incident when called upon
  • Take ownership of issues by carrying out problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes with the aim of restoring service to the end user as soon as possible; escalating incidents to other support teams where necessary
  • To accurately record, update and document requests using the IT ticketing system
  • Perform remote & on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop problems for end-users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions, including off-site repair for remote users as needed
  • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user and network hardware, peripherals devices, printing/scanning devices, presentation equipment, software and other products in order to deliver required desktop service levels
  • Respond to the daily IT support requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Create, add and modify accounts and services across various platforms
  • Hardware/software upgrades on laptops and desktops
  • Provide basic end user training for hardware and software
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 years of IT experience and/or Bachelor’s Degree
  • Proficiency with all current Windows operating systems mandatory, Apple desirable
  • Server 2008-2019
  • TCP/IP skillset
  • Active Directory
  • O365 Administration and Troubleshooting
  • Mobile Device Management – MDM
  • Linux Experience desired
  • Understanding of networking concepts and setup
  • Knowledge and experience supporting, troubleshooting and configuring PC Hardware
