PCL conducts an onsite walkthrough of a facility to document current lighting conditions and determine where energy saving changes can be made. It encompasses exterior and interior four main types of information: general, lighting, occupant, and financial.
General Information
General information includes floor plans and ceiling plans showing current fixture locations. Room dimensions, and ceiling heights are documented, as well as plans for future renovation, if available.
Lighting Information
This includes information such as:
- Number, type and size of fixtures

- Tasks area and height of task
- Hours of operation in the space
- Availability of natural daylight
